Anger is dangerous

Anger is an agro-chemical that makes self-destruction to grow faster with bitter green leaves. Like a stone thrown upward, all angry people eventually fall down into the dirty ditch of sorrowful self-harm and a pathetic loss of real-self.

Someone saw the mood of angry people to be like holding fire in your palm with the intention of throwing it at the other person. Guess who gets burned first?

Or fair enough, angry is seen as a poison taken into the stomach with the purpose of killing another person. Who suffers from the harm?

It is normal to get offended, but abnormal to take offence! This is because we were called, not to experience life in the absence of trouble, but to live in peace in the midst of the storm!

Offence is a storm. How would you live in it? With anger or with inner peace?

Make your mind and thrown that hatred thing on some rubbish dump somewhere; get into focus and be at peace with all !!!

Keep the tongue, but change the language...

The tongue is a source of life and death. Yes! But if you become crippled to progress as a result of your tongue, don't blame the tongue; blame the language.

You have the same fleshy tongue as others have, but the question is what do they use it for. On the tongue of successful people are found positive words, brilliant affirmations and purposeful dreams for a thoughtful future.

On the tongues of unsuccessful people are complains, worries and affirmations of self-worthless with reflections of an IMPOSSIcan't attitude.

Don't ever think you can be a winner when you remain a chronic complainer about your situation. Declare a bright future for yourself and believe you can grab it. Decree a thing and it shall be done, said the Bible.

Next time you open your mouth, let your language be clean, positive, bright, neat, pure, sweet and worth of a good testimony. Say something good about yourself because you deserve to be great!

Reduce your inflation rate!

The main reason why most people lose their economic values is because, they raise the value of others higher than themselves.

What others can do, why with passion my not you? They have a pair of legs and you too have them; they have the skull and you have it too. And in that skull is a mass of coiled organ called "the brain"; you also have some and yours does not have a different function as theirs!

So what a hell on earth will make you think that you are a local currency and cannot transact the business that foreign currencies do transact?

Don't discredit your value, raising your inflation rate. Believe in yourself through the redemptive purpose and restoration power of Christ and you will be who God destined you to be.

Many people are waiting to celebrate your achievements if only you are prepared to enter that game and change value on the score board! That value is you and score board is as limitless as the entire globe of the universe.

Treasure the value!

The value in my room is neither my television, nor my food, nor my bank note. The value in my room is I, myself! Why? This is because even if I lose all that I have and still get me, am coming back with full passion and desperation to climb unclimbed hills and get back into the race towards my dreams!

Comrade, don't allow your mind to be fooled over the assumptions of complacency. Don't value your accomplishments better than yourself. Don't look merely upon your intrinsic composition. What is in you is far greater, bigger and higher than what the world contains.

When you believe in yourself as a great asset God created for a reason, you will rename your major successes as mere stepping stones because there are greater things that eyes have not yet seen through you, and all are embedded in the value you have in your room; remember that value is you!

When you look merely upon yourself, you look mean on the value in your room... And that it you!

Repetition leads to mastery!

The key factor that makes you a master over a difficult task is a persistent ability to do it on repeated basis. We become perfect at what we repeatedly do.

That is why it is neither an option nor a priority to give up because the little rehearsals you have taken already were meant to prepare you for a success which is very close to you even before you intend to quit.

Do it again and difficult things will lose the power of their difficulties, yielding it up for your victory. Never think you can't, and hence you won't to need practice. Constant repetition is a source of greater accomplishments. Dream big, but start small; bite a tiny part of your heavy tasks each and every day and you will bring them down in no time

Don't postpone your success. 

Victory lies ahead of you provided you are prepared to run many short races to reach your long journey!

Climb out!

You climb out with the strong belief that you are never going to be suppressed by progressively failing methods, unplanned ways of doing things, poor methods of management and others.

Resist every obstacle that attempts to cripple your feet from taking progressive steps. You can think well outside the box when you get the ladder to climb out.

Major achievers in the history of the world are people who at first were global failures. However, they turned their sorrowful dirges into celebrated laughter.

How did that turn over happen? Some people dared to be on top because they met people who mocked them out of their pursuits. A great achiever like Christ used the persecutions of others to mount higher heights and made his accomplishments real!

Learn a lesson here, the obstacles you face must build you up, not to stop you. If the world says you can do something while you are convinced that you can, make sure you have it done and silence the voice of the world with your accomplishments.

The bricks of mockers can be good equipment for your life castle. That means, the more people doubt you, the faster you grow beyond imagination. As they throw them, you lay it; let them keep throwing them and keep laying them till you complete your dream castle to the surprise of the naysayers!

Appointments in disappointments!

What makes most people to fail and quit is because they can't see hope in the face of difficulties. Sometimes, in our weakness lie our strengths and our appealing future get wrapped in our appalling statuses.

Roses have thorns; yes! This attitude will make you to dare to remove the thorns away and grab your beautiful flowers!

Thorns bushes have rose flowers! No! This attitude will only make you to get intimidated and unwilling to pick the rose because the thorns are there!

Don't be too quick to bow down for the disappointments you may face in your pursuits. Don't quit because you are seeing a tougher battle ahead of you.

In the prison was Joseph, and there his destiny looked for him. His honesty deposited him in that status and his dreams located him from that mess!

Never be afraid of the thorns, the rose flowers are more important!

Depend on your own plans

You can't use the map of the direction of someone's destination to reach your destination. What if he is on the way to the hospital and you are on the way to the market? You use your own plans to reach your destination.

The best word to describe the future of someone who put his life in the plan of another person is "loss". When you find yourself on the way to school while you think of going to Church, you are in a "loss" indeed. Plan your own life and let it be directed by the Holy Spirit of God.

Dependency on your life plan does not mean you neglect the help of others. You put in your plans those you think are willing to help you; but you don't leave the chance for them to plan your life for you!

God's plan for you is to prosper you; your plans must therefore be free to lead your into prosperity so that it can be compatible with the will of God for you. Any plan you make that is aimed at destroying your physical, emotional, spiritual and general social value is not godly! Godly plans are those that can make you prosperous!

Never be afraid!

Most people become quitters because they look at the number of potholes they need to jump over again before reaching their destinations. They however declare impossibility to themselves and pronounce defeat at a go.

Never be among those who do not see the importance of risk taking and rest themselves on the fences of lukewarm attitude rather than taking initiatives with passion.

Never look at the height of the walls you have to climb to the other side of your life and declare your own defeat. Start creating a ladder. By gradual steps on the ladder, bet me, you will be there!

If anytime it occurs to you to quit the dreams you pursue, expand the size of your imaginary excitements of winning; downsize the perimeter of your fear of losing and you will develop the passion to go to the top!

Keep your mind in the joy of trophies, not on the shame of disgraces. That is called positive living!

Only God can stop you!

A car can only be stopped from moving by the engine that provides it with the power. You must never allow yourself to be stopped from graduating into higher accomplishments by failures and detractors, simply because, they are not the sources of your power!

Your power can only be taken away by the source; where you got it from. Fortunately, God is not against you, but for you. God's plans are not meant to harm you, but to prosper you and give you an expected end.

Never get frightened by the mockeries of naysayers because, they are not the reason why you live. If obstacles make you to fall down, rise up quickly and say to them; "I am coming back again"!

Persist till the end and you will smile at your obstacles. Be in focus, direct all your scattered attention into that channel and you will surprise the imposibilitarians!

Aim high!

The best competitor with you is yourself because no other person has the same assignment on earth as you do. Your assignments may be similar, but not the same.

It is therefore expected of you to set a standard for yourself with your goals and compete to complete that standard. When setting your standards, you don't limit yourself to the good, but you aim at the best. Never settle as a housefly when God called you to fly like an eagle...

Excellence is attained by people who set their own records and break them on successive accounts. Aim at the best and why not?

Remember, whatever great thing you can do today, you can do greater than that tomorrow. It’s all about record setting and record breaking on successive basis to get to the top where only few could reach.

Let the best come out of you. Never let complacency fool you; you can do better than what you are doing today! Just believe it.

God knows the reason why He brought you into the world. You have no option that to comply. His purpose about the earth is still a as new as today. 

The part He expects you to play is to ensure that what He put in you is not left unused.

You must however never adopt the culture of trying to be like someone else. Everybody wants to be like the other person. But the fact is that you are also "the other" person to someone else.

You are precious because you have no other person being like you and no one can be. Don't look merely about.

The Practical, not the Theory

Success is planted with the tools of visions and harvested with the tools of action. It is deliberately worked for, not merely expected and that tells why success cannot be an accident.

The value of an accomplished life is determined by the hard work done, hard lessons learned and the hard experienced gained. Have your visions clearly spelled out. Have the faith of accomplishment, draw your plans and go to work.

Never live your life with unaccomplished visions. Don't live in the promise of the clouds; it must definitely rain! When you move yourself out of your comfort zone to pursue your dreams with clear determination, you will put surprises on the map of the world.

Christ said, I know my sheep and my sheep knows me... My sheep knows my voice. Every true child of God knows his/her father.

The best way to take something from your father is to ask him. The process of communicating with God is termed Prayer and through this, Christians are linked to God.

It will however be totally out of the ruled line to expect from God without knowing Him. It is also uncalled for, for a Christian not to know the voice of His father.

In the beginning of the day, call upon God for His guidance; thank him for the success of everyday.

God didn't bring you to this earth for you to live like an orphan. He is ever ready to give what you ask, provided He knows you will use the gifts all.

Your eyes, ears and mouth, watch them!

Eyes and ears are poor witness to people if they have uncultured souls- Heraclitus.

The major entry gates into our consciences are through our eyes and ears, both in pairs. Similarly, the major exit gate for what our consciences tell us is our mouth.

By the ears and eyes, we trap all sort of dirt underfoot that we must remove before they make home in our hearts. 

When we let our mouths speak of things that do not produce the divine portrait of God in us, we point dirty fingers to our creator.

What do you often hear, see and say What do others say to you; what do you see them do; What do you let them hear from you These are the questions that will produce a good conscience in you to ensure that you are living a well fulfilled life.

Your soul (mind) and spirit are the unseen you. Never let your visible eyes corrupt your unseen self

Work for it!

It is good to be kind to everyone, giving alms freely. But when it becomes excessively done to the extent that the receiver refuses to reason and work, giving becomes a bad act.

"He who does not work must not eat", says the Holy Bible. It therefore means, you must not earn your living under the pretense of begging day after day, after day!

"Nothing comes from nothing", said William Shakespeare. "Something comes from something", re-framing Shakespeare's words. God gives you "something" and expects you to use them to produce "something" to feed yourself and others.

Begging would have been the option if God had given talents to only few. But is too late for us to be chronic beggars because what God has given, He expects us to command our successes from it.

Make good use of your talents. Let them work for you as you work with them. Plant something before you think of harvesting!

Learn from experience

"Experience is a hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson afterwards"- Vernon Sanders.

It is not an offence to fail, but it is a crime to repeat the same failure under the same condition or event. It means you have not learnt from the lesson failure taught you!

There are many people whose failures shoveled them into success. How did that happen? They were able to learn from what they experienced. The experience though didn't give them the lesson at first to try, it later provided it and the wise people tried again with a wiser method.

What you repeatedly fail can be dealt with if you persist to make good use of experiences. Never see failure as a torture or a punishment... See it as a hard teacher so that you will not fail her tests on repeated referrals.

Whatever you go through in life, take the lessons it gives you. You cannot grow without experience. Experience, although a hard teacher, it differentiate the mature people from old once.

Waste no opportunity!

The impossible as always said is often the "unattempted". Meanwhile the "unattempted" could have been when seen as possible.

Had I known is always at last, but could be brought at first by saying "I will try". Never leave welcoming opportunities unattended to. Provided it has the seeds of your dreams, you must plant every viable opportunity that comes your way because it may later wear wings and fly away.

"It might have been" is a vague word of hope that cannot change the past. Tomorrow's life is dependent on how you make it today. Your choice for heaven depends on your salvation today. Today's preparation prevents you from regrets that will only create undue anxiety in you!

Are you shy because of your "DIRTY CLOTHES"?

I wonder why some people pretend to be who they are not just because of the fear of bringing outside their dirty clothes to wash. Well, if your STOMACH pains you and you insist on telling the NURSE that it’s your BACK that itches, I guess your problems will remain as they are forever.

Zaccheus became a friend of Christ because he didn't keep his "cheating cloths" hidden. Jabez became wealthy because he did not keep his "painful cloths" hidden. Hannah became a mother because she didn't keep her "barren cloths hidden".

When the dirty cloths remain stacked in the room, I am sure public toilet will be a better place to sleep at rather than that room. But if you insist, pack them into the dirty wardrop in your dirty room and you will have a "dirty aroma" to inhale.

* Lets wise up, my people, cry your dirty plights to Christ... Don't hide them!

Don't give up!

Successful people never quit and I believe no quitter had ever been successful too. If you feel like giving up, ask yourself again and again about why you held on for that long time in the first place.

Perhaps you are just close to what you have been waiting for all along and ideas start formulating in your mind and advising you to "give up". Tell them "not me".

It doesn't matter what is going on, whether you encounter a life obstacle or you are in pain; just remember, suffering may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning!

Two choices!

You have the right to choose whether to change situations around you or to remain where you are forever; it all depends on your attitude.

The choice of failure is very easy at first, but squeezes you at the end. Unlike wise, the choice of change for a better future squeezes you at first but later rewards you with success!

Why the squeezing by the choice to change? Believe it; you can never change yourself unless you are ready to take up the responsibilities involved! To be a true success, you must invest your time, money, energy and talents.

But when the season is ripe, you will laugh while others cry. Success is deliberate; you need to choose it and work for it.

Whenever you decide to be something, remember to think about the responsibilities involved. They shouldn't frighten you, but prepare you fully to face the future!

Do something!

Life lived with a purpose is a life lived with something discovered, done and done well. To live and find nothing doing is to be merely existing and breathing.

No one was sent to earth without a seed. What you may be is "fruitless". But the fruitlessness of a person does not mean he has no seeds.

The question is have you discovered something to do and be remembered for? Have you been doing something that will give comfort to another human being? Can someone testify of your productiveness on earth?

Decide on something worthy to do. Put a stop to all fears and intimidation from the crowd. Let your decisions be transparent, equivocal and clearly outline.

Having done that, prepare and go to work on them, changing the entire world, but beginning from you!

One thing we have to believe is that, the grace of God is unconditional (does not need your effort to flow), but the blessings from God may be conditional (need your actions to actualize).

The taste of your life depends on the spices you use to brew it. Add laziness to it and it becomes bitter as the bile; put a cube of good attitudes into it and you will lick your leaps more and more due to its sweet taste.

Know it today that God put the kind of person you should be in you and no one can realize it except you. You carve your own existence from your very self and you can call it beautiful or ugly!

Never leave your future to be decided by the number of insults from friends, guilts from sins and mockeries of people.

You may not be able to go back and make changes in your yesterday, but you start today and create a bright future for yourself!

Stay focused!

"Concentrate all your thoughts upon the work at hand". The sun rays do not burn until brought to focus" -Alexander Graham Bell

Concentration is the lap on which attention rests. When you are focused on a particular dream at a particular time, you are able to give it all your thoughts, energy, action, and attention.

To be in focus means to direct all your scattered powers to a common channel and guess how concentrated that group of powers will be.

You can't reach an optimum level of your dreams when you always give them a divided attention. Perhaps, you are not sure if it will succeed, so you are thinking of "trial and error". That can't be the best choice of behaviour.

Lack of focus is the major cause of unfinished tasks, neglected tasks and poorly done jobs. It also delays your time and makes you late.

Stay focused; don't be distracted away from your goals... You will be there by the grace of God!

Make haste!

"...make haste and come down, for today I must abide at your house" - Jesus Christ (Luke 19v5)

That statement was not meant for Zaccheus alone. It was meant for all those who behave like him.

What then was the behaviour in the dock It is an inability to come out boldly to receive what belongs to you. You must not hide, peer, and climb up, etc. to see what is declared to be yours.

Christ's phrase make haste simply means, salvation although comes by grace, it can easily be missed. And the step to take in order not to miss it is to act now!

Your dreams are yours, success is yours, freedom from sin and liberty is yours, and eternity is yours; so tell me why you can't get hold of them boldly

Be quick about your life treasures before you miss them. Never make simple issues of need cripple you because you refuse to take what belongs to you quickly!

Redeem the time, the days are quickly passing!

Believe in your dreams!

It is not a joke to say "who is in me is greater than who is in the world". The fact is that, Christ in you, has restored powerful visions in you and you have to make a plan for that to be released.

You cannot make it if you don't have a confident will to act. You have to believe in your God-given gifts and that ensures in you with an assurance that truly, you can and have made it.

To believe means to trust and hope for something valuable. Believers and achiever and disbelieve is as sin as wickedness.

Never doubt the provisional capability of God and prevent yourself from receiving from Him. He is there for you always; but before you come to Him, you must believe that He rewards those who diligently seek His face!

Be a true believer!

A listening heart...

"Listening" is a very good factor in communication and cannot be done without. It is usually confused with "hearing" and should be seen as deeper.

"Hearing" is controlled by our ears and brains, but "Listening" is controlled by our hearts and wills.

Many a times we realize our conscience tells us not to do something horrible, but eventually, we do it, rejecting the good command of our good consciences. The fault is not from the ear; it’s from the heart.

Let us PRAY for a listening heart; it will keep us doing what our good conscience tells us to do and also, avoiding what is tells us to avoid. With a listening heart, we can go to God's house with a free heart without thinking about what a hypocrite we are because of the evil things we have committed against our consciences.

May God replace every stony heart with a listening heart

Time to decide!

God has a reason for giving us imaginations. He called us, predestined our end, justified us and sent us to leave a great impact as a purpose of our lives.

Fortunately, He established in our reasoning faculty, a school of thoughts which is where we imagine our state.

Our imaginations take us on tour into the future, so that we can see the brightness of our destiny and come back to make plans towards fulfilling it! By that means, we are able to make rightful decisions for the realization of our real-selves.

Decide on the positive things you will pursue! Desire a very useful use of your brain. Never think of immoral and useless thoughts. Your positive thoughts are your future visions!
