"Striving for
success without hard work is like trying to harvest where you have not
planted"- David Bly
It is good to be kind
to everyone, giving alms freely. But when it becomes excessively done to the
extent that the receiver refuses to reason and work, giving becomes a bad act.
"He who does not
work must not eat", says the Holy Bible. It therefore means, you must not
earn your living under the pretense of begging day after day, after day!
"Nothing comes
from nothing", said William Shakespeare. "Something comes from
something", re-framing Shakespeare's words. God gives you
"something" and expects you to use them to produce
"something" to feed yourself and others.
Begging would have been
the option if God had given talents to only few. But is too late for us to be
chronic beggars because what God has given, He expects us to command our
successes from it.
Make good use of your
talents. Let them work for you as you work with them. Plant something before
you think of harvesting!
